Dried goji berry rehydration and processing

Separate dried-berry weight, added water, retained liquid and hydrated feed when planning goji puree or juice production.

Begin with dried berries before water

A dried-berry route starts with incoming-lot acceptance and a dry-fruit mass record. Incoming moisture and prior storage affect the material, so a supplier specification and representative sample matter more than a generic fresh-fruit conversion.

Define rehydration as a process stage

Record the water added, the treatment history and whether the liquid is retained or discarded. If the fruit is drained, describe the equipment, drainage interval and the point at which it is weighed. The resulting mass is a different capacity basis from the original dry berries.

Separate, then specify the finished product

Trial the prepared material for pulp recovery, seed/skin separation and texture. Agree on the resulting product composition and the downstream thermal and packaging process. This route is not automatically fresh-pressed or NFC.

What the equipment offer needs

Provide the dried-fruit amount per hour or batch, planned operating schedule, water/solid records if available and target product. No universal rehydration ratio or extraction yield is assumed.
