Connect purchased or upstream goji pulp to transfer, optional refining, post-treatment and filling without repeating whole-fruit preparation.
Enter the line at the pulp boundary
Existing pulp may arrive chilled, frozen or aseptically packed. Frozen pulp belongs here, not in the frozen whole-berry route. Describe the container, composition, solids, texture and previous treatment supplied with the material.
Do not add unnecessary whole-fruit stages
Receiving and controlled emptying/thawing may be needed, but fruit washing and initial seed separation are not automatic requirements. Further refining is justified only by a defined texture or fragment problem and representative trials.
Review the next process and package
Check transfer behaviour, temperature history, oxygen exposure and the preservation objective. An upstream aseptic pack does not validate an open downstream repacking process. Resolve the new product and packaging boundary explicitly.
Name the flow unit
Pulp can be specified in mass or volume at a measured condition. Density is required before converting between them. Supply the measurement method and temperature rather than assuming one litre equals one kilogram.
