Goji colour and oxygen exposure: a trial checklist
Locate oxygen exposure, sampling points and handling delays when comparing goji processing arrangements.
Locate the exposure points
Check open receiving surfaces, tanks, falling streams and pump suction conditions. Record foaming and air entrainment, then distinguish those observations from measured dissolved oxygen. Later handling can change the condition achieved by a deaerator.
Use paired samples
Take samples at defined upstream/downstream points from the same lot and operating period. Keep sampling containers, delay to testing and light/temperature conditions consistent. A photograph taken under different lighting is not a quantitative colour comparison.
Connect the result to the process
Review waiting periods and the complete temperature history alongside oxygen observations. Use representative runs to set acceptance evidence. This site does not promise a colour-retention percentage or infer health benefits from product appearance.
