Goji seed and skin separation: evaluate both streams
Compare goji pulper samples, screen geometry, seed fragments and rejected pulp using a consistent trial boundary.
Look beyond the accepted pulp
Collect a representative reject sample alongside the product. Inspect seed integrity, skin distribution and retained pulp. An apparently smooth product can still come from an inefficient or unstable separation process.
Describe the operating condition
Record fruit preparation, added water, feed consistency, screen details and machine setup. Change one planned condition at a time where practical. Keep sample periods aligned so a feed surge does not masquerade as an equipment difference.
Set acceptance before testing
Choose observations and measurements appropriate to the intended puree or juice. A screen opening is not a guaranteed final particle-size distribution. Agree on the sample method, fragment limits where required and what counts as acceptable texture.
