Goji capacity basis: fresh weight, dry weight and finished output
Build a technical brief that keeps fresh fruit, dry berries, rehydrated material, pulp and finished-product quantities separate.
A number needs a boundary
Record what was weighed or metered and where. Added water, rejected fruit, separated skin/seeds, discarded soak liquid and removed water are separate streams. A planned duty is not a measured recovery result.
Why this tool does not convert your quantity
Fresh-to-dry equivalence needs actual composition and process data. Mass-to-volume conversion needs density at a known condition. Rehydration and concentration need complete stream measurements. This tool records your basis without inventing any of those values.
Brix is not total dry matter
Record a soluble-solids result with its instrument/method and sample condition. If the pulp contains insoluble skin or fibre, a refractometer reading alone does not describe all solids. Keep laboratory dry-matter results separately identified.
Give your quantity a clear meaning.
Save a technical record, then review it before attaching it to an enquiry. No yield or conversion is calculated.
Compare the measurement boundaries
| Material basis | Keep with the number | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|
| Fresh received weight | Net fresh fruit before rejects and washwater | Packed product equals receiving weight |
| Frozen whole-fruit weight | Tare, ice condition and thaw-drip policy | Frozen pulp follows this same preparation |
| Dry berries before water | Incoming moisture and separate water addition | A universal fresh-fruit equivalent |
| Hydrated, drained material | Retained liquid and drainage method/time | This is the original dry-fruit mass |
| Prepared pulp | Solids, temperature and previous treatment | One litre equals one kilogram |
| Finished product | Recipe, concentration and filling condition | This is the raw-material feed rate |
