TARGET PRODUCT

Goji juice processing: cloud, separation and treatment

Plan goji juice around the incoming raw material, cloud or clarity target, suspended solids and packaging.

Specify what the buyer calls juice

Define cloudiness, sediment, suspended material and the intended formulation. A juice-bearing stream after pulping may need a different separation arrangement from a puree, depending on these requirements.

Keep raw-material identity visible

Fresh berries, frozen whole berries and rehydrated dried berries do not create interchangeable product histories. Document water addition and any formulation steps. Do not label a dried-berry rehydration route as fresh-pressed or NFC by default.

Trial the required separation

Compare accepted liquid and removed fractions, including quality and mass records. If clarification is required, assess it as its own duty with the actual product rather than assuming a finer pulper screen produces a clear juice.

Coordinate preservation and packaging

Product acidity, physical properties and the intended storage/pack format determine the validation work. Equipment selection follows that specification; no universal goji pasteurisation schedule is offered.
