A hopper-fed mill provides an optional fine-working stage after coarse seeds and skins have been separated.
A compact mill within the pulp route
The illustrated working area shows a feed hopper, vertical mill body and external motor arrangement connected with the surrounding transfer system. Material passes through the mill working zone before discharge. It is a texture-adjustment option and does not replace the pulper’s seed and skin outlet.
Specify the product leaving the mill
The useful setting depends on solids, fibre, temperature and the sensory target. Review the finished texture together with heat rise and downstream pump behaviour. Colloid milling and high-pressure homogenization are different mechanical treatments; using both requires an actual product reason.

Cleaning, access and maintenance
Isolate the drive before exposing working surfaces. Remove fibrous buildup from product-contact gaps and check seals and the adjustment mechanism. Allow access around the mill and its drive; installation clearance is established from the equipment drawing.
