GOJI / EQUIPMENT & ENGINEERING
Goji Berry Washing & Elevator Selection
Select an integrated bubble washer and elevator using fruit condition, discharge height, drainage and access requirements.
Match washing to berry condition
An air-agitated bath and inclined flighted belt combine washing and elevation in one physical assembly. Fresh, thawed and rehydrated berries can require different handling conditions. Assess soft or damaged material before assigning agitation and residence duties.
Connect the elevated discharge
Match the elevator outlet to the next hopper or conveyor and manage the drain route beneath it. Avoid an uncontrolled drop that damages prepared fruit. The head drive, side guards and access platform need space for operation and maintenance.
Make water management part of the scope
Specify water supply, overflow, drain and replacement arrangements. Collected soil should have a managed removal path. An open washing bath has different cleaning requirements from a closed product circuit.
- Received berry condition
- Infeed and downstream discharge height
- Water/drainage and working access
Before you select equipment
Is the washer shown a brush washer?
No. The available assembly uses an air-agitated bath and a flighted lifting belt.
Can the same settings cover all raw materials?
The handling and washing duty must be reviewed for each received material condition.
