GOJI / EQUIPMENT & ENGINEERING

Goji Pulper vs Colloid Mill: Which Duty Do You Need?

Compare seed and skin separation with pulp texture reduction to select the right goji pulper or colloid mill.

A pulper separates product and reject

The pulper and finisher pass prepared material through the selected working arrangement to separate pulp from seed and skin reject. Evaluate the retained pulp and reject together, using representative goji material. Screen selection belongs to the product specification.

A colloid mill works on pulp texture

A colloid mill applies further size reduction to a suitable feed. It does not create a separate seed/skin rejection route and should not be used as a substitute for required upstream separation. Review the feed condition, particle target and transfer arrangement.

Choose by the job, not by the machine name

If the problem is seeds or skins in the product, start with the separation configuration. If separated pulp needs further texture adjustment, assess milling. Optional upstream crushing must also be evaluated against the seed-fragment outcome.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Before you select equipment

Can a colloid mill replace a goji pulper?

Not when a seed/skin separation duty is required. The two machines address different boundaries.

Can both be used in one line?

Yes, when separation is followed by a justified texture-reduction stage.
