Goji concentrate processing feasibility
Assess goji concentration using measured feed solids, viscosity, water removal and product-quality trials.
Establish a reason and an endpoint
Concentration removes water from a characterised stream. Name the feed, inlet measurements, target endpoint and intended use. A buyer asking for “concentrated goji” still needs a defined product and capacity boundary.
Measure more than Brix
Soluble-solids readings are useful in the proper context but do not capture all insoluble fibre or total dry matter. Document the method and sample condition, then assess viscosity, foam and deposits as concentration progresses.
Evaluate the entire route
A feasible evaporation step must connect to product transfer, heat-treatment requirements, cleaning and filling. Include start-up, end-of-run and off-condition material in a trial and material balance.
Connect the evaporation duty
Match an evaporation system to product tests, feed solids and the required final condition. Include utility demand, cleaning and concentrated-product transfer when comparing a configuration.
